The East of England has the second-highest concentration of space and satellite application businesses in the home of UK. And Essex is home to more than 30% of the region’s space businesses!

Essex businesses are already supplying businesses like NASA, ESA and other global space players. Essex-made components are in orbit and locally made devices are playing an essential role in monitoring and predicting climate change.

It’s clear that Essex is already a world leader in space tech, but we know we can take things even further! With the UK Government’s ambition to capture 10% of the global space industry by 2030, we want to make sure Essex is primed to mobilise and capitalise on future opportunities.

That’s why Essex County Council’s Ambitious Essex team is collaborating with Space East on this exciting free event to help local businesses.
