MAIAR Ltd has an extensive backstory and experience in the remote sensing / space-based intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance arena, with team members having worked on space programmes and data for over 20 years.
MAIAR is founded upon its expertise, with a team that is highly motivated and passionate about making better sense of the world, and delivering better insights and outcomes for our clients. Our team includes systems engineers, technologists, trials and operational analysis specialists but most relevant to the exploitation of space-based remote sensing, we have experts in imagery and geospatial analysis, highly trained and with industry-leading capabilities.
We bring our extensive experience of working at the national level for UK Governments, national security and the Ministry of Defence out into the commercial arena, applying the skills and expertise to benefit each client, and leading the revolution of commercial space insights and intelligence “as a service”.
We have strength in organisational design and understand the many barriers and blockers that our clients face in adoption and exploitation of space-based data, the impacts on people, technology and processes, and the supporting solution architecture design required to enable effective operations.
Our analytical services are class-leading, with a combination of imagery analysis, geospatial analysis, open-source analysis and commercial data exploitation expertise; some of our work is in assessment of facilities in hard to reach locations or places too unsafe to send personnel; in some cases it is more cost effective to conduct analysis via remote sensing; and in other situations space is the only answer possible, as we have access to a fleet of small satellites that image the entire world’s surface on a near daily basis. Our access to high-resolution imagery is on a “most of market” basis although we have key partnerships with some of the industry leaders in this field.
