Norfolk FWAG (Farming & Wildlife Advisory Group)

Norfolk FWAG (Farming & Wildlife Advisory Group) is a non-for-profit, charity, and membership organisation supporting farmers and landowners across Norfolk in delivering environmentally sustainable land management. Rooted in the farming community, Norfolk FWAG provides expert advice on integrating wildlife conservation, habitat restoration, and biodiversity enhancement into productive farming systems.

Founded with the aim of bridging the gap between agricultural productivity and environmental stewardship, Norfolk FWAG works one-to-one with farmers to develop practical, tailored solutions that benefit both the farm business and the wider landscape. The group specialises in agri-environment schemes, countryside stewardship applications, nutrient and soil management, habitat creation, and compliance with environmental regulations.

With deep local knowledge and strong relationships across Norfolk’s rural landscape, Norfolk FWAG plays a key role in shaping a more resilient countryside. Its advisors are trusted by farmers for their understanding of the challenges of modern farming and their ability to offer realistic, effective, and science-based guidance. The organisation is also involved in collaborative projects and partnerships aimed at delivering wider landscape-scale environmental benefits, from river catchment improvements to pollinator corridors.

Norfolk FWAG continues to champion a vision of farming that works in harmony with nature—supporting profitable, productive farms while enhancing the natural assets that underpin them.
