This is the UK’s first space skills conference, organised by Space Skills Alliance and SpaceCareers.uk. It will be hosted by Viasat.

The Space Skills Summit will feature a mix of presentations, discussions and practical workshops on a wide range of skills topics such as:

• Better aligning education and training with employers’ needs
• Attracting people from outside the sector
• Recruiting fairly and effectively
• Supporting student competitions and projects
• Taking on apprentices and graduates
• Learning from other sectors

Who should attend?

This conference is for anyone in the space industry involved in recruitment, training, retention, diversity, outreach and other skills topics. That includes:

• Employers and recruiters
• Education and training providers
• Outreach providers
• Policymakers
• Learned societies
• Anyone working on space skills
