The Curiosity Box seek to raise £30k for inspirational STEM learning

Posted on May 28, 2025

The Curiosity box are seeking £30,000 in funding to create a brand-new, curriculum-linked STEM Box for primary schools, in partnership with Water Rockit. This box will take children on an exciting journey through science, technology, engineering and maths—introducing them to real careers in the UK space sector, right on their doorstep.

Their mission is to inspire children, especially from underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds, before age 11, when career aspirations begin to form. And to show them that space careers don’t mean becoming an astronaut or moving away—but offer high-value opportunities in engineering, data, logistics, and more in the areas where they live.

As a funder, you’ll:

  • Have your branding included in the Box, reaching thousands of pupils and becoming a household name
  • Be featured in storytelling that inspires the next generation
  • Gain long-term visibility across marketing, PR, and CSR
  • Be recognised as a leader in future skills and workforce diversity

Not only that but you’ll be invited to an evening with Brian Cox on 30th June.
